Right of Withdrawal
The following provision applies to consumers within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB), and not to business persons within the meaning of Section 14 BGB who enter into the transaction in the course of their commercial or self-employed professional activity. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods. by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, although this is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notification concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees because of this reimbursement. We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.
Furthermore, pursuant to Section 312g(2) BGB the following applies:
"Unless the parties have agreed otherwise, the right of withdrawal does not exist for the following contracts: contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive, or that are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer." For fabrics and ribbons under 3 m, we therefore reserve the right not to accept the withdrawal or to charge a cutting fee of 20%, but at least €8. Please make use of the option to order samples. We send up to 3 samples per month free of charge, or inexpensive colour cards.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
If you paid via PayPal from a European country, you have the option to register via this link: PayPal returns and to apply for a refund of the return shipping costs. You must complete a form and submit proof of purchase as well as the return receipt.
You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You only have to pay for any diminished value of the goods where this diminished value results from handling the goods in a way that is not necessary to ascertain their nature, characteristics and functioning.
